HKCRC was invited to go to Malaysia to participate in the second China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and a range of activities

In July 2024HKCRC was invited to go to Malaysia to participate in the second China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and a range of activities, in which HKCRC had a close exchange and discussion with government officials, university scholars and industry professionals from Malaysia and other ASEAN countries in the field of construction technology.

1、HKCRC Gave a Keynote Speech at Malaysia-China Housing and Urban Green and Low Carbon Development Technology Exchange Conference

On July 2Malaysia-China Housing and Urban Green and Low Carbon Development Technology Exchange Conference was opened in University of Malaya. The exchange brought together more than 10 Chinese construction companies and their R&D organizations. Dr.Ramesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of University of Malaya and Mr. Liu Xinfeng, director of Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development gave welcoming speeches. HKCRC was invited to participate and Project Director Li Haozhen delivered a keynote speech as the center's representative to introduce HKCRC's latest R&D achievements.

2、HKCRC was Inviated to Participate in the 23th Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition

From July 3 to July 6 the second China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and the 23th Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.

It aims to strengthen cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the field of housing construction. In the exhibition, HKCRC displayed two R&D projects, the rebar tying robot and the IoT flatness meter. The rebar tying robot can realize intelligent obstacle avoidance and automatic tying, which improves construction efficiency and safety; while the IoT smart ruler has the advantage of high-precision measurement and instant recording, which ensures the measurement efficiency to the highest degree.

3、HKCRC was Invited to Participate in Closed Door Company Meetings Held by China Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development

On the afternoon of July 3, HKCRC was invited as a representative of Hong Kong enterprises to participate in Closed Door Company Meetings Held by China Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Ni HongDirector of Department of Housing Reform and Development Wang ShengjunDirector of the Department of Building Energy Efficiency and Technology Chen Shaopeng participated. Dr. Liang Haobo, Deputy Director of HKCRC Center, said at the conferenceas a platform for R&D and innovation in construction technology in China, HKCRC is committed to the research and development of robotics and other advanced technologies. HKCRC aims to significantly improve the efficiency and quality of housing construction on the one hand, and on the other hand, to revitalize the old houses with smart technologies to implement the "Innovation for Good Houses and Renewal for Old Houses".

HKCRC hopes that through this exchange activity in Malaysia to show the intelligent construction achievements, and then to strengthen and deepen the exchange and communication with Southeast Asian construction enterprises and professionals. HKCRC also hope to accelerate the pace of penetrating into the Southeast Asian construction market, and to create more opportunities for promoting the intelligent construction achievements to the sea.
