On the first day of Housing Expo, Vice Minister of Housing and Construction Jiang Wanrong visited HKCRC Booth

On June 27th, the 21st China International Exposition of Housing Industry and Products and Equipments of Building Industrialization was officially opened at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing. The expo will last for three days from 27th to 29th. With the theme of "Good House, Good Life, New Technology, New Energy", this year’s expo has attracted more than 3,000 industry-leading organizations and enterprises.

As one of the exhibitors, HKCRC showcases a number of cutting-edge construction technology products and solutions in the Expo. On the morning of 27th, Jiang Wanrong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, visited HKCRC's booth and visited three construction technology products, namely, Rebar Tying Robot, IoT Flatness Meter and AI Binocular Photogrammetry, which were independently researched and developed by HKCRC. Mr. Jiang exchanged views with HKCRC's R&D staff on the products' functions and application scenarios, and expressed the recognition and expectations of the future development prospects of the products.

In addition, the Chairman of Hong Kong Construction Industry Council, Ir Prof. Thomas HO On-sing also came to visit the HKCRC booth. Previously, HKCRC and HKCIC have had many close exchanges and cooperation, with both sides helping to introduce innovative technologies to the Hong Kong construction industry and drive its transformation. In this Housing Expo, Ir Prof. Thomas HO On-sing visited the latest generation of rebar tying robots and expressed great recognition and encouragement to HKCRC's efforts in continuous technology iteration and product applicability.
