HKCRC July Review: Smart Minds Gather in the Star City, Building the Future Together

The wave of smart manufacturing surged across the shores of Hong Kong and swept to the banks of the Xiangjiang River.
From an in-depth visit by the Changsha municipal government delegation,
to renewed collaboration with the TTI Group—
HKCRC welcomed like-minded partners and harnessed cross-sector intelligence,
joining forces to build a new ecosystem for the smart construction industry.
Changsha Municipal Government Delegation Visits HKCRC, Deepening Hunan-Hong Kong Smart Construction Industry Alignment
On July 17, Tong Laisheng, Vice Mayor of the Changsha Municipal People's Government, led a delegation to HKCRC. The 10-member delegation comprised officials from the Changsha Science and Technology Bureau, the Science and Technology Innovation and Industry Promotion Bureau of Xiangjiang New Area, the Changsha County Science and Technology Bureau, and Hunan Malanshan Group Co., Ltd., along with representatives from Hunan Top Technology, Changsha Yingxin Semiconductor, Hunan Xinfeng Technology, and other enterprises. During the visit, Deputy Director Liang Haobo and his team provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the centre's operational model and technology incubation outcomes, with a special focus on several ongoing R&D projects, including the Urban Spatial Intelligence Project, Intelligent Excavator Project, Smart Tower Crane Project, and Water Tank Cleaning Project. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on technological innovation and industrial collaboration in the smart construction sector, laying a foundation for further alignment of science, technology, and industrial resources between Hunan and Hong Kong.

TTI Group and Milwaukee Team Visit HKCRC, Deepening Smart Construction Industry Synergy
In July, TTI Group returned to HKCRC with its Milwaukee brand innovation executive team. This marked the third high-level exchange between the two parties, following previous meetings in May and June, with collaboration continuing to deepen. During this visit, the TTI team held detailed discussions with multiple incubated companies at the centre, gaining firsthand insights into each project's technological progress and productisation pathways. The two sides engaged in practical discussions on strategic investment, joint R&D, and other concrete areas of cooperation. Both parties look forward to advancing strategic collaboration and jointly exploring technological innovation and industrial synergy in the smart construction sector.
