Developed by Shenzhen Castor Construction Robotics Limited. The Rebar Tying Robot RBTS1 is designed for automated rebar-tying operations on flat rebar mesh grids. Equipped with autonomous navigation, intelligent node recognition, automatic obstacle avoidance, and automatic row-switching capabilities, the robot can perform high-speed tying on rebar mesh of various specifications. Weighing no more than 40 kg, it achieves a comprehensive efficiency of 500 to 700 nodes per hour—more than three times faster than traditional manual tying. Stable and highly efficient, it significantly reduces labour demands while improving work quality. The robot is suitable for a wide range of applications, including residential construction, municipal engineering, roads, bridges, tunnels, and water conservancy projects.

India Project Update

Recently, multiple Rebar Tying Robot RBTS1delivered by Castor Construction Manufacturing to a major Indian construction company have officially passed acceptance testing and received high praise from the client.

Operating under India's extreme high-temperature conditions, the Tying Robot RBTS1 has demonstrated its ability to perform automated tying tasks quickly and effectively—liberating local workers from strenuous labour and enabling them to create greater value.

The client's most straightforward feedback was: "The machine is very fast and easy to use!" They have also indicated plans to introduce more of these rebar-tying robots on a larger scale to enhance overall construction quality, substantially reduce labour costs, and play a greater role in ensuring worker safety.

UAE Project Update

Meanwhile, the rebar-tying robot delivered to a construction company in the UAE has performed equally impressively. Under scorching on-site temperatures—so extreme that users' phones shut down due to overheating—the RBTS1 continued to operate efficiently and stably. This has been a game-changer for construction sites in the Middle East, allowing workers to accomplish large volumes of tying tasks through human-robot collaboration even in extreme heat. The robot has not only contributed significantly to project schedule adherence but has also helped the construction company reduce costs and improve efficiency.
