BEYOND Expo | Macao Chief Executive Visited Three Products of HKCRC

On May 22nd, the fourth BEYOND International Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo 2024), organized by Macau Technology General Association, was officially opened at the Venetian Macao.

Under the theme of [Embracing the Uncertainty], the four-day event focuses on consumer technology, life sciences, climate and low-carbon technology. It aims at spotlighting international tech advancements, and fostering a culture of tech and innovation in Asia. There were more than 1,000 exhibitors, including Fortune 500 large enterprises, unicorn companies and startups.

As one of the exhibitors, HKCRC participated in the exhibition with three science and innovation achievements, MetaCam, IoT smart flatness meter, rebar tying robot, as well as several sets of construction technology solutions.

During the exhibition, Mr. Ho Iat Seng, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), and his entourage visited HKCRC's booth, where the team introduced a variety of intelligent construction products and solutions. Among them, the team members highlighted MetaCam, a color 3D scanner independently developed by HKCRC's incubatee team, Skyland Innovation, which demonstrated the use of 3D spatial digitizing technology in the construction industry, and was unanimously praised.

Meanwhile, the rebar tying robot and IoT smart flatness meter attracted the attention of many guests. With a working efficiency of 500 nodes in 1 hour, the rebar tying robot assists workers in completing large-area tying work without interruption; the flatness meter can realize three-in-one measurement of flatness, verticality and horizontality, which makes project acceptance work more convenient and efficient.

In the future, HKCRC will continue to iterate the technology of its products, adhering to the original intention of transforming the industry with science and technology, to create more feasible and more innovative building technology products.
